Student of the Year: After Dark Unveils New Track

National, 5th November 2026: After the trailer of Student of the Year: After Dark gave audiences a glimpse into its darker, mysterious world, the makers now unveil the new track ‘Jo Bhi Hona Hai Ho Jayega’, featuring Chaar Diwaari alongside Shanaya Kapoor, Abhinav Singh, Divik Sharma, Manya Grover, Deeya Damani, Adi Malik, Sheeba Chaddha and Vivek Gomber, ahead of the much-awaited series' premiere on JioHotstar on 13th November 2026. Sung, written and composed by Chaar Diwaari and Samad Khan, the song brings Chaar's signature experimental sound into the world of St. Teresa's, where secrets, rivalries and danger lurk around every corner. While the trailer gave audiences a taste of the mystery, the song shows just how strange things can get.

Far from a conventional Bollywood track, ‘Jo Bhi Hona Hai Ho Jayega’ plays with the idea of throwing caution to the wind and letting things unfold, no matter how strange they get. With its haunting sound, unusual beats and an underlying sense of chaos, the song carries the unmistakable madness of Chaar Diwaari's music. The music video adds another layer to this madness, with Shanaya Kapoor and Chaar Diwaari caught in a world where nothing is quite what it seems. Just when you think you've figured out what's happening, the video takes a wild turn, ending with Chaar transforming into a werewolf!

Speaking about the song, Chaar Diwaari said, "I think the fun part about this song is that it doesn't really behave the way you expect it to. We are exploring different genres such as qawali and mid-tempo in this in a way where the transitions feel effortless. The lyrics talk about Murphy's Law in a way where it feels liberating. The lyrics reflect positive nihilism. Samad and I have been close friends for a while so making this song felt like it was long overdue.

Talking about creating the track, Samad Khan said, "Diwaari and I didn't want to make something that sounded too polished or predictable. We wanted the track to have its own personality, something that feels slightly off in places but in a good way. We played around with different sounds and ideas until we found something that felt right for this world. I think that's what I enjoy most about working with Diwaari. We can try the weirdest things without worrying too much about whether they make sense to anyone else and somehow, they end up making sense in the song."

With ‘Jo Bhi Hona Hai Ho Jayega’, Student of the Year: After Dark steps into a darker, stranger territory, bringing together Shanaya's screen presence and Chaar Diwaari's unconventional musical style. Strange, playful and unapologetically chaotic, the track is a reminder that sometimes the best things happen when you stop trying to control what comes next.

‘Jo Bhi Hona Hai Ho Jayega’ is out now on all streaming platforms via Sony Music India.

Presented by Dharmatic Entertainment, Student of the Year: After Dark is directed by Reema Maya and produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla and Apoorva Mehta. The series stars Shanaya Kapoor in a double role alongside Abhinav Singh, Divik Sharma, Manya Grover, Deeya Damani, Adi Malik, Sheeba Chaddha and Vivek Gomber.
